[McIDAS #JRK-547142]: install mcidas2009 in a SUN Solaris10x86_64 machine

Hi Hsie,

It was _very_ helpful to talk on the phone about the problems being
experienced on stratus! This reply is not really for you as you (and
I) now know what was going on. Rather, this reply is for "the files"
(for the next time).

The problem turned out to be that the location of the shared 32-bit MySQL
libraries, /opt/sfw/lib, is not searched by default. The solution was
to add the definition of LD_LIBRARY_PATH to /home/mcidas/.mcenv and
make sure that it contained /opt/sfw/lib. Now, remote ADDE access to
all of the McIDAS datasets hosted on stratus.al.noaa.gov works fine!

All's well that ends well :-)

Cheers,

Tom
