[LDM #HSY-596665]: LDM questions

Javier,

The LDM is designed to push data-products to multiple, downstream LDM-s.

An upstream LDM site must allow incoming TCP connections to port 388 (similar
to allowing incoming TCP connections to a web server listening on port 80). If
this is not done, then the upstream LDM will not be able to distribute
data-products to downstream sites.

Downstream LDM sites must allow outgoing TCP connections to port 388 (similar
to allowing outgoing TCP connections to a web server). If this is not done,
then a downstream site will not be able to receive any data-products via its
LDM.
