Re: pqing/pqact problem?



Jeff,

After viewing the log file, there is something wrong with the
configuration or the LDM software. First, pqing should only be started
once per invocation/per feed type.  The pqing is started multiple times on
the same feed type, probably the reason for lost data in the queue. I have
never seen this problem before.  We had problems with version 5.0.5 having
multiple decoders  starting for the same pqact entry that caused
corrupted output files. I would upgrade the LDM to version 5.0.6 first and
see if you are having the same problem. If you do, I would like the output
of 'ldmadmin ps' and another excert of the log file. Not as long as
previous one. Also, I would like to see the ldmd.conf and pqact.conf
files.
