Yes, that is correct.

Yup, that will REQUEST just those products whose Product IDs begin
with 'IXT'.

OK.  As a note on style, it is most common to keep all LDM pattern-actoin
files in the ~ldm/etc directory.  As you have seen, this is not mandatory,
but it is best practice.

Final comment:

One of _the_ most useful applications in the LDM suite is 'notifyme'.
'notifyme' can be used to list what an LDM is receiving both currently
(right now) or in the past N seconds.  The LDM being interrogated
can be the local LDM or the LDM at an upstream site.  It is worthwhile
to learn how to use 'notifyme'.
