[CONDUIT #DWJ-226858]: GEFS upgrades coming - will this increase the amount of data coming through CONDUIT?

Hi Pete,

Yup, we received an email from NCEP Central Operations about this upcoming
change a couple of days ago:

"The GEFS model is being upgraded and the 1 degree files will no longer be
created. Half degree files are available. You can find examples of this data on
para-nomads - https://para.nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/ ;

Please let me know if you are able to test and would like the .5 degree sent
to conduit systems."

I sent back a reply that we would like to get a test feed to assess the
impact on the CONDUIT feed (e.g., volume), and asked if that was possible.
We have not received a reply to our query.

I _assume_ that it does, but I can't say for sure that it will.

I've been hoping to get a reply to our query/request. Things happen
even slower now with most folks working from home...

Cheers,

Tom
