[CONDUIT #PGY-808322]: Upcoming NCEP CONDUIT maintenance

Hi Carissa,

Excellent news. What about the NDFD fields that are available on the
old relay and not the new?

re:
> Would you let us know your plans to move forward?

Yes.

re:
> Are you going to pull from both Boulder and NCWCP?

Yes. We would like to do redundant feed REQUESTs from more than one
location. Is that OK with your OPs folks?

re:

> another test of just pulling from NCWCP, do you have any objections to us
> putting a timeline together for that?

No, not at all. We (Unidata Program Center) can start REQUSTing data
redundantly from one or more machines that do not relay CONDUIT to
the community. We can then compare data ingest volumes and spot test
the list of products being received with the current, operational feed.
Once we feel confident about the new top level relay, we would advise
the Unidata community top levels to re-implement redundant feed
REQUESTs. Is this plan what you had in mind?

By the way, we are currently at the AMS Annual meeting in Atlanta, and
our network connection will go down at or around noon ET today, so you
should not be surprised by email silence after a certain time.

Cheers,

Tom
