Yes, I think it must be getting confused with that... although that seems like 
a pretty standard thing (to have a PROJCS as well as the
GEOGCS).  I hope it's not too much trouble to do the reprojections to be able 
to view them in CAVE.

We're currently working on a major upgrade from v20 to v23 because of the End 
of Life of CentOS7 later this year, so we don't have much
time at the moment to dig into any specific issues, but I can put this on a 
list and come back to it later if we have the time.
