AW: Application performance issue even with opengl java3d

Hi Helen,

Since I'm not an OpenGL/J3D expert I cannot say exactly what is going
on. But if I should make a guess I would say you have a problem with
your java3d installation, perhaps a version conflict
(Function=DrvValidateVersion+0x747B0). Did you uninstall the DirectX J3D
before installing the OpenGL J3D? Where did you install the OpenGL J3D?
In your JDK directory or separately? Where was/is the DirectX version
installed? Perhaps someone else on the list can help you out of this. I
would be interested where the atio2kai.dll belongs to since this is
where the exception occures.

All I can say is that my OpenGL J3D 1.3 beta2 with j2sdk1.4.0 works fine
on my win2k.

Hope that helps, Mathias
