Re: changing ConstantMaps

Hi Doug-

Are you surrounding your remove/addReference block with a
disableAction() and enableAction().  That might improve performance. 
Unless you are also mapping to RGB, doing what you are doing now is the
way to go.  If mapping to RGB, you could use a color table of one color.
