custom shape.

Hi, 

        I was hoping that I can perform a visualization where 
        a data set has a quantity that is visualized by
        varying the size of the "custom shape" (for eg 
        the volume of rectangular blocks stacked on each other)
        Is there an established way to do this in visad?
