SUBJECT:Eight Additional NWS Upper Air Stations to Use GPS

Lockheed Martin LMS-6 Radiosonde with the Radiosonde

Replacement Systems (RRS) starting about October 3

Eight NWS upper Air sites are scheduled to transition from the

GPS Lockheed Martin Mark IIA radiosonde to the GPS Lockheed

Martin LMs-6 radiosonde on or about the dates listed below.
