------------------------------------------------------------------------ Topic: REMINDER GOES-11 East/West Maneuver November 7, 2006 Message Issued: November 6, 2006, 1845 UTC Satellites Impacted: GOES-11 and GOES-12 Products Impacted: GOES-11 Imager and Sounder Data and GOES-12 Imager Data Date/Time of Initial Impact: November 7, 2006 0447 UTC -------------------------- Details: ** This maneuver notice is separate from the GOES-12 maneuver for next week ** A GOES-11 East-West Station Keeping maneuver will be performed on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at 1209 UTC. The backup date for this maneuver is Thursday, November 9, 2006. If the NWS regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM (301-763-8298) at least 6.5 hours prior to the maneuver time. On November 7, the following exclusive schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations: (*PLEASE NOTE the scheduled GOES-12 Full Disk scan period to support the primary GOES-11 outage during the maneuver.*) GOES-11 Maneuver Schedule starts at 0447 UTC on November 7, 2006.

From 1100 UTC through 1159 UTC -- GOES-11 Full Disk Imaging and Routine
Soundings. *From 1200 UTC through 1329 UTC -- No GOES-11 Imaging or Soundings* **From 1145 UTC through 1344 UTC -- GOES-12 Full Disk Imaging**
From 1330 UTC through 1956 UTC -- GOES-11 Post Maneuver Recovery Including:
