THE TROPICAL CYCLONE PUBLIC ADVISORY PRODUCT /TCP/ IS THE

FOR THE ATLANTIC AND EASTERN PACIFIC HURRICANE BASINS...THE HPC

LONGITUDE FORMAT IN THE TCP TO ALLOW THEM TO BETTER TRACK THESE
SYSTEMS.

THE END OF ITS TCP PRODUCT...FOLLOWING A STANDARD FORMAT
ILLUSTRATED IN THE EXAMPLE BELOW. HPC WILL PROVIDE THIS
INFORMATION THROUGH 120 HOURS AT THE SAME FORECAST TIME STEPS AS
NHC...AS LONG AS THE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO HAVE AN IDENTIFIABLE
SURFACE LOW PRESSURE CENTER AND IS A SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION
THREAT TO THE CONUS. THE TCP WILL CONTINUE TO BE ISSUED AT THE
NORMAL ADVISORY TIMES of 0300...0900...1500 and 2100 COORDINATED
