EFFECTIVE TUESDAY... FEBRUARY 14 2006 AT 800 AM CENTRAL STANDARD
TIME /CST/...900 AM EASTERN STANDARD TIME /EST/...1400 UNIVERSAL
COORDINATED TIME /UTC/...NWS WILL MAKE CHANGES TO ITS PUBLIC WATCH
PRODUCT /SEL/ AND AVIATION WATCH PRODUCT /SAW/. LATITUDE AND
LONGITUDE INFORMATION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SPC PUBLIC WATCH
PRODUCT...WWUS20 KWNS SELX /X REPRESENT A NUMBER/...WILL BE
REMOVED. ENHANCED LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE INFORMATION WILL BE ADDED
NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE SPC AVIATION WATCH PRODUCT...WWUS30 KWNS
SAWX /X REPRESENT A NUMBER/.

CUSTOMERS WHO BEGIN USING THE LAT-LON INFORMATION IN THE SAW
PRODUCT COULD AT A LATER TIME STOP USING THE SPC WATCH ANCHOR
POINTS OR VHF OMNI-DIRECTIONAL RANGE /VOR/ POINTS TO DECODE OR
PROCESS THE WATCH. BY PROCESSING LAT-LON DATA...INSTEAD OF THE
ANCHOR POINTS OR VOR POINTS... CUSTOMERS DO NOT HAVE TO KEEP THE
WATCH ANCHOR POINTS OR VOR POINTS DATABASE IN SYNC WITH THE NWS
DATABASE.

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

        COLORADO
        KANSAS

EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY MORNING AND EVENING FROM 1010 AM UNTIL
600 PM CDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60
STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES WEST OF
LIBERAL KANSAS TO 80 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF RUSSELL KANSAS.  FOR
A COMPLETE DEPICTION OF THE WATCH SEE THE ASSOCIATED WATCH OUTLINE
UPDATE (WOUS64 KWNS WOU4).

REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA.
PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING
WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTS AND POSSIBLE
WARNINGS. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE
TORNADOES.
