On 3Sep02 IBM commenced drop shipment of the WAS to your respective sites. This initial shipment includes only the server. Upon receipt please set the IBM processor aside and report its receipt to larry.frye@xxxxxxxx. The Field Modification Kit (FMK) components required to effect the upgrade are in the procurement process and the Mod Note dealing with the upgrade is in the preparation process. Additional guidance will be promulgated as soon as all the items required for the upgrade are acquired and readied for shipment.
