To: NCEP Internet Services User Community, NCEP Public Services Community There will be an an interruption of internet connectivity on Tuesday Jan. 15, 2002 at 6:00 PM EST. This will cause an outage of our public services, including ftp://ftpprd.ncep.noaa.gov. ; The maintenance window lasts for 45 minutes, we expect the outage to last about 10 minutes during this maintenance window. Subject - The NOC will be upgrading the Juniper Operating System (JUNOS)in the SSMCGate router on Tuesday Jan. 15, 2002 at 6:00 PM EST. This upgrade will require a 45 minute maintenance window (6:00 until 6:45 PM). This outage will effect all connectivity to and from the Internet, Internet2 and connectivity between SSMC and the Suitland/WWB campuses. This includes all NOAA-DC offices (HCHB, SSMC, Suitland, WWB and all FNS sites).
