(U.C.)...THE NWS OFFICE IN MONTEREY CALIFORNIA EXTENDED TERMINAL
FORECAST /TAF/ SERVICE FOR THE SANTA ROSA AIRPORT (KSTS) IN SANTA
ROSA CALIFORNIA...AND THE MONTEREY PENINSULA AIRPORT (KMRY) IN
MONTEREY CALIFORNIA TO 24 HOUR COVERAGE.   VALID TIMES FOR
ROUTINE AND UPDATED TAF ISSUANCES...WHICH PREVIOUSLY EXTENDED
FROM 1600 U.C. TO 0400 U.C....WERE EXPANDED TO 24 HOUR COVERAGE.
 
THIS CHANGE DID NOT REQUIRE ANY ACTION FROM NWS PERSONNEL...
FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA) PERSONNEL OR EXTERNAL
CUSTOMERS.  THERE WAS NO CHANGE IN THE COMMUNICATION
PROTOCOL...INCLUDING AFOS IDENTIFIERS...WMO HEADERS...AND
COLLECTIVES IN WHICH THE TAFS ARE CONTAINED.  IN
ADDITION...HOLDERS OF WEATHER SERVICES OPERATIONS MANUAL /WSOM/
CHAPTER D-31 (AVIATION TERMINAL FORECASTS) ARE NOT REQUIRED TO
MAKE ANY CHANGES TO APPENDICES A OR B.
