          COUNTY WARNING AREA

On October 4, 1994 a Public Information Statement was issued
stating that the National Weather Service was transferring short-
fused warning responsibility for fourteen (14) southern Indiana
central Kentucky counties (Table 1) to the Louisville, Kentucky
Weather Service Forecast Office (WSFO SDF) from the Evansville
Indiana Weather Service Office (WSO EVV) on December 7, 1994.
The transfer of these fourteen counties HAS BEEN POSTPONED
INDEFINITELY.

For these counties, WSO EVV will RETAIN short-fuse warning and
related product responsibility. For holders of NWS Operations
Manual Chapter C-47, County Warning Areas, this transfer
postponement is an amendment to the 47th update of 1994.
