Re: [netcdfgroup] who has very large netCDF files or data sets?

Hi Ed:

So some questions of semantics since I am unclear what you are trying to ascertain and why. Are a series os small netcdf files aggregated into one virtual file by TDS on line with what you are after? If so, we have a ton of these, if not, we just have a lot of collections.

Howdy all!

As the risk of some size-related jokes I am going to ask who is using
very large netCDF files, and who has collected very large amounts of
netCDF data?

By very large I mean files over 5 GB, and data collections larger than
1000 TB.

Please send your responses to me (ed@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx), rather than the
mailing list, and I will summarize the results.

And for those who must make jokes, please try to make them original!

Thanks,

Ed
