[netcdfgroup] building netCDF 4.0.1 without hdf5 support

How is it possible to reconfigure and build netCDF 4.0.1 in Visual Studio 2008
environment without hdf5 support?

As a second question, why do we need zlib1.dll and szlib.dll at the same time,
if we want to build it with hdf5 support?
