I am installing and compiling netCDF for CMAQ.
The Environ:
OS: redhat9.0 kernel:2.4.20-8
PGI:pgf 6.1-2 32-bit target on x86 Linux
netCDF:3.6.1
path for netcdf: /software/models3/netcdf-3.6.1
variables' setting in
CXX c++
FC pgf90
CC gcc
FFLAGS "O2"
CPPFLAGS "-DNDEBUG -DpgiFortran"
the steps to install(shell :/bin/sh)
1. sh-2.05b#./configure >& config-out ###all the three output
file,please see the attachment
2. sh-2.05b#make check >& make-check-out
3. sh-2.05b#make install >& make-install-out
Finally in the newly created directory (../netcdf3.6.1/lib) there are
two files:libnetcdf.a and libnetcdf_c++.a.
I am unfamiliar with netCDF,
please help make a confirmation about the result of this installation,
is the installation successful?
