Announcement: netCDF version 3.6.0 now available

Hi,

We're pleased to announce that netCDF version 3.6.0 is now available.

NetCDF version 3.6 improves large file support, Windows compatibility,
ease of installation, documentation, and Fortran-90 interface
performance. In addition, it fixes a few bugs.  It's available in
source form as a gzipped tar file or compressed tar file

New simplified installation instructions are available from
