Netcdf 3.5.1 with intel F90 compiler

Running on Fedora Core2 with the intel ifort8-8.0-40 Fortran 90 compiler. The file "cfortran.h" generates the error: "Can't find your environment..." 
Does anyone have an installation tips for this situation? Thanks.
