netcdf 3.5.1 beta 13 ia 64 linux

Hello,

I was trying to compile netcdf 3.5.1 beta 13 on an Itanium2 system
running RHEL 3 Update 1 with Intel compilers v 8.0.

When I use -O3, ncgen dies with a segmentation fault during testing. 

If I use -O2, it goes through fine. 

Anyone else faced the same problem?

I was able to successfully compile and test with

icc -O2 -tpp2 -IPF_fma
icpc -O2 -tpp2 -IPF_fma
ifort -O2 -tpp2 -IPF_fma
ifort -O2 -tpp2 -IPF_fma
