The University of Hawaii's GMT postscript graphics package reads
NetCDF files directly and contains many intrerpolation algorithms
which can be accessed from a unix shell command line.

Web site:

Anonymous ftp access:
kiawe.soest.hawaii.edu in directroy /pub/gmt

Have fun!
