Installing netcdf lib on the system ..

[ldm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (Wetzel SDM data)]

        I downloaded the new netcdf.tar file and when i use the gmake
        it gives me error message that it counldn't create libnetcdf.
        
        Can you tell what i should do to remove this error.
