Stardent version of netCDF

Has anyone out there installed netCDF on a Stardent?  I have a 3000 system
running version 4.0 of their Unix operating system and would much appreciate any
diff files, suggestions, encouragement, letters of sympathy, etc.  My head is 
getting sore from beating it against the wall!  Thanks.
