HDF on DOS-PC

Hello HDF-Users!

I was not able to compile the HDF-lib and utils without source-code 
modifications (compiling with Microsoft C7.0). I am sure 
I have not done all the necessary modifications.
Perhaps someone has done this or other useful modifications and can 
give me some tips ?
