[ldm-users] LDM on LAN

I am fit to be tied ...
for the life of me or my host we cannot get 1 out of 3 LDM servers to utilize
the LAN (eth1) port,
I have confirmed port 388 is open but LDM is refusing the connection
even with the ALLOW statements !!

ldm.michiganwxsystem.net is my main ingest server
and the one not allowing my other 2 servers connect
here is its relative ldmd.conf

ALLOW ANY ^10\.225\.60.*$ .*

and in db1.michiganwxsystem.net

REQUEST IDS|DDPLUS ".*" 10.225.60.226
REQUEST HDS ".*" 10.225.60.226
REQUEST EXP ".*" 10.225.60.226

and the log from db1

iptables are off on all 3 machines

tcpdump shows the connections coming in
I can telnet to eth1 port 388
but LDM is kicking any connection there out
