*Notice: Increased NOAA-NCDC-NOMADS Communications Bandwidth*
The National Climatic Data Center's (NCDC) NOAA National Operational Model Archive and Distribution
System (NOMADS) has increased its public access bandwidth rates. This will significantly improve
access to NOMADS models and data from NCDC. This improved access has been realized on public servers:
http://nomads.ncdc.noaa.gov/ (the NOMADS Archive-Access component)
http://nomads6.ncdc.noaa.gov/ (the R/T NCEP-NOMADS real-time mirror component)
(Note: this will NOT affect the nomad*.ncep.noaa.gov series of servers at NCEP.)
Additionally, the simultaneous connection throttles will be relaxed but not
removed.
