Whoops! My mistake. The URL is
http://my.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/ldm/ldm-6.0.14/basics/tradeoffs.html
The difference is that the machine-name is "my" rather than "dev". I'm
so used to using our "development" web server that I gave out its URL.
The "basics" directory one level up should also be an interesting read.
