All equipment in the Computer Center will be shutdown beginning at
approximately 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2001 while performing
maintenance to the Halon Fire detection/suppression system and upgrading
the electrical power system. All computer systems and servers
centrally located in the Computer Center and portions of the university
network will be unavailable for 3-4 hours.
