[galeon] Fwd: GALEON - WCS.SWG liaison

Hi,

The email exchange below is a completed action item from today's GALEON
telecon. Basically it says there will be a place on the agenda of the Jan
23 WCS Standards Working Group (WCS.SWG formerly the WCS.RWG) agenda for
GALEON related topics.

As Arliss points out, one has to sign up as a WCS.RWG member or observer to
participate.

Also be aware that the WCS.SWG is the new incarnation of the old
WCS Revision Working Group (WCS.RWG) so you may find both ways of
referencing the same entity. (It is my understanding that all OGC RWGs are
becoming SWGs.)

Ben and Peter,

The current TC Policies and procedures require that in order to
participate in a SWG, an OGC member person must explicitly sign up as a
member or observer of that SWG. To sign up for the WCS 1.2 SWG, please
go to
http://portal.opengeospatial.org/index.php?m=admin&a=license_agreement&s
uppressHeaders=1&access_license_id=28&target=http://portal.opengeospatia
l.org/files/index.php?artifact_id=25967 on the OGC members portal.

January 23 would be fine to include GALEON in the teleconference agenda.

Arliss
