Discussing with Ben, I realized that you may be interested in another
GRID related project, recently approved.
We just started a project funded by the European Commission and
designed to bring together GRID and GMES (mainly Civil Protection)
communities.
In this framework, the design of implementation guidelines for
geospatial services (e.g. OGC WCS, WFS, WMS, CPS, Web sensor
services, etc.) have an important role.
We'll build such platform on the top EGEE: the European GRID platform.
