I'm trying to bring in the ldm NOAAPORT data and pipe it through the AWIPS
D2D decoders. addccb.pl is a program that replaces the WMO header with a
D2D header. The following is the command COMET gave me to use in
pqact.conf, but whenever I start up ldm, I get a 'child process exited with
status 1' error but no other indications as to what the format problems are.
Any ideas?

Deb,

Try running the decoder from the command line as user LDM. Redirect the
input from standard in, this is how I solve most decoder problems, ie.

% addccb.pl fxa/ldm/test.220000 < <inputdata>

Robb....

ps I was out of the office last week.

WMO ^(.*) (....) ([0-3][0-9][0-2][0-9][0-5][0-9])
               PIPE -close addccb.pl fxa/ldm/\1\2.\3

Thanks in advance.
