Conduit Users,

TOMORROW, June 28, beginning with the 12Z model cycle, the changes for our
supercomputer transition will be live as advertised in the following SCNs:

https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-40_operational_supercomputer_go-live_aaa.pdf
<https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-40_operational_supercomputer_go-live_aaa.pdf>
https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-42_hysplit_smoke_model_change_aaa.pdf
<https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-42_hysplit_smoke_model_change_aaa.pdf>
https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-41_ncep_website_directory_changes.pdf
<https://www.weather.gov/media/notification/pdf2/scn22-41_ncep_website_directory_changes.pdf>

This will be permanent; we will not be rolling back.

*As a reminder for CONDUIT users*,
*the impact of the change to all model data to use version numbers means
that data will be inserted into the CONDUIT LDM feeds at NCEP with a
version number in its directory path instead of "prod". These are the same
version numbers used for model data on our NOMADS service
<https://nomads.ncep.noaa.gov/>.*
(Example:
data/nccf/com/gfs/*prod*/gfs.20220626/12/atmos/gfs.t12z.pgrb2.0p25.f000
*--->* data/nccf/com/gfs/*v16.2*
/gfs.20220626/12/atmos/gfs.t12z.pgrb2.0p25.f000)

Please reach out to idp-feedback@xxxxxxxx with any concerns you have
about the data contents from the new system. The Dataflow Helpdesk
ncep.pmb.dataflow@xxxxxxxx is also available for any questions about the
data flow aspects (delivery, access) that aren't already covered in the
SCNs. Please be sure to let us know that you are a user of the data from
Conduit services if you do reach out to either address for assistance.
Thank you
