I can report that I have successfully loaded CAVE (about 15 seconds for it to 
load the GUI) on a client 32-bit CentOS5 system that is talking to a 32-bit 
CentOS5 EDEX server, and have loaded some real-time products using OAX as the 
localization source.

Will try some other things once I am back in the office on 4 November.
