The successful candidate must have a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate physics or astronomy in addition to atmospheric sciences. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to develop and sustain a research program that involves undergraduate students. A PhD in physics or in a closely-related atmospheric science field with a strong physics background is required. Teaching and/or post-doctoral experience is preferred.
