[McIDAS #DZN-645110]: McIDAS, CentOS, solid-state drive and Windows 10

A system has to come up to the point where it can run in single user
mode.  If it never gets this far in the startup process, then I don't
know what you would do.

Can you get into single user mode?  (Single user mode is basically being
logged in as 'root').  If you can, you can get access to the file system,
and if it is not damaged, you have a chance of getting the scripts you
want.
