[IDV #HTH-766860]: old paths during launch of new IDV version

Hi Conrad,

You can remove/rename the .unidata folder and then launch the IDV again. The 
.unidata folder is under your home directory, something like 
/Users/username/.unidata.

By the way, the version is very very old, you should consider the update to 5.7 
version.
