[Datastream #COG-428018]: Unidata: NEXRAD composite question

Hi Russ,

Currently, no. Chiz just told me, however, that he could change
the compositing algorithm to differentiate the conditions. This would
require a change to my ADDE server for McIDAS, and a change in the
color table all sites are using right now (GEMPAK and McIDAS). I
am not sure what it might do to the IDV... maybe nothing since it
gets its data from an ADDE server.

My comment about the RCM composite was not aimed at convincing you
to use it to discriminate for each Unidata composite, but, rather
for the end user to be reminded that there are holes in the data.

Cheers,

Tom
