[Datastream #ASJ-408521]: Re: 20060401: Level 2 data: KIWX not coming in?

The NWS TOC is supposed to be monitoring outages like this. I don't
remember seeing a message about KIWX Level II data before you sent
your original message to ldm-users, but, then again, I wasn't looking
for it.

The NWS/TOC has today, however, sent a notice regarding KIWX:

  Date: Sun, 02 Apr 2006 22:19:19 +0000
  From: "toc.nwstg" <address@hidden>
Subject: WSR-88D LEVEL II DATA LATENCY/OUTAGE REPORT

The NWS TOC contacted personnel at the following WSR-88D site to inform
them of the WSR-88D Level II Data Latency at 6:00 PM on 04/02/2006:

  KIWX - Northern Indiana, IN

Since a notifyme on one of the data collector frontends for our IDD toplevel
relay cluster shows no Level II data from KIWX, I am assuming that the
"WSR-88D Level II Data Latency at 6:00 PM on 04/02/2006" really means
total lack of data.

Cheers,

Tom
