Cooperative Opportunity
for NCEP Data Using IDD Technology (CONDUIT)
High resolution model
data sets are being distributed through the cooperation of the U.S. Weather
Research Program (USWRP), NOAA's National Weather Service (NWS) and National
Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center
and the Unidata Program Center (UPC) to the university and USWRP communities
using Unidata's Internet Data Distribution (IDD). The data are a substantial
set of the data made available on servers at the NWS National Centers for Environmental
Prediction (NCEP) and at the NWS. Information in the next section provides more
details on what data are included, technical aspects of participation, status,
and how to get started.
