IDV 6.1

The Integrated Data Viewer (IDV) version 6.1 is available now. This is a major release and is recommended for all users. It can be downloaded at:

https://downloads.unidata.ucar.edu/idv/.

New features

System Changes:

  1. OpenJDK Java version
  2. Latest netCDF-Java 5.5.3 library

Display Changes:

  1. NCEP ProbSevere Json Display
  2. The Advanced Dvorak Technique (ADT)
  3. IDV Appearance Mode (Dark Mode)

Jython/ISL Changes:

  1. WRF NetCDF Formulas
