Branch Chief at NCEP Central Operations

The NOAA National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Central Operations is looking to hire an Operational Monitoring Branch Chief. This individual will be responsible for maintaining real-time reporting of operational issues. The position is in Silver Spring, MD.

The individual selected for this position will:

• Coordinate policy for operational processes and procedures and define requirements for the monitoring and support of new applications.
• Communicate operational issues to staff and senior management.
• Resolve problems with operational IT related issues.
• Manage the daily IT operational support of the office.
