Re: Scale and offset in TDS

hi roy:
it depends. low level data acccess services like opendap do not, higher services like feature collections, wcs, ncss, ncSOS do apply scale/offset.

Hi All:

I am blanking on this, and a quick web search didn't turn up anything. If a
variable in a netcdf file served by the TDS is accessed, does the TDS apply a
scale and offset if one is present for a variable, or just returns the value
and expects the receiving application to apply the scale and offset. In one
example I have running now it appears to be the former (scale and offset not
applied) but want to check that this is the expected behavior.
