Good morning, From the config.log file you provided, it appears that the issue is in locating the hdf5 library. Can you talk a little bit more about how you installed libhdf5? Where is it located? Can you confirm that it is, in fact, installed? If you can locate the 'libhdf5.settings' file, and can provide that to me, it will contain a lot of the information we will need to debug this issue. Thank you, have a good day, -Ward > Full Name: Srikar K > Email Address: address@hidden > Organization: IIST > Package Version: 4.8.1 > Operating System: Ubuntu > Hardware: > Description of problem: Please help as it is very important - been trying > since long time > > Need to install netcdf-c-4.8.1 along with hdf5-1.12.1, I am getting an error > as: > > checking for floor in -lm... yes > checking for library containing H5Fflush... no > configure: error: Can't find or link to the hdf5 library.
