Hello, Thank you for providing the config.log. Examining it, I see that the LDFLAGS environmental variable is not set, which is odd because, at first glance, you are setting it by capturing the output from nc-config. However, upon closer examination, I think I see the problem. You are enclosing the value of nc-config using single quotes. In a bash shell, single quotes prevent the expansion of macros and variables. Try replacing the single quotes in the LD_FLAGS assignment with double quotes, e.g. LD_FLAGS="(...)". Let me know if this helps; if it does not, please send along the new config file generated. Thanks! -Ward > Hi > > I've been trying to compile and build NetCDF Fortran for CM1, using > Intel compiler.
