[netCDF #SGB-677139]: Help

Hello, and Happy Holidays!

You don't need to have the parallel version of hdf5 to have compression,
although if you are using parallel hdf5 you will need to use parallel netcdf-c.
There are newer versions of netCDF, the latest being 4.7.3, perhaps that might
work better.

I've scanned the screenshot you provided, but am not able to figure out what
the associated problem might be; would it be possible to get the entire
config.log file generated when you run configure?

Thanks!
