[netCDF #XTD-723603]: problems with ncgen3 passing checks on AIX system



Judging by what failed, it looks to me like your AIX system
either does not have enough memory, or (more likely) has some
per-process memory limit in force. This causes some memory allocating
tests to fail. You might be able to tell using the ulimit command
(assuming AIX supports ulimit).
